Ich wollte schon längst das Dokument schreiben, aber ich habe mein Wissen und Notizen nicht parat.
Ich habe schon X Werkzeuge und Apps benutzt, um meine Notizen zu strukturieren, aber nach drei Wochen lande ich wieder bei Post'Its am Monitor.
Falls ja, dann haben wir eine Gemeinsamkeit: den Bedarf unser Wissen zu verwalten.
In diesem Vortrag zeige ich dir, wie ich selbst mit Methoden wie Zettelkasten, CODE und PARA Ordnung in mein Chaos gebracht habe. Dabei liegt mein Augenmerk immer auf dem Output und Outcome. Die Ansätze sind praktikabel und leicht zu erlernen. Sie sind nicht final, aber haben mir bereits ab Tag 2 spürbar geholfen.
Du brauchst keine Programmierfähigkeiten. Ich werde meine Erkenntnisse in einem lockeren Vortrag darstellen. Am Ende gibt es Impulse für Diskussionsrunden und zum selber Ausprobieren.

Hi sketchers, we invite you once again to come and draw together from a live model! Suitable for all levels, this is an opportunity to practice the timeless challenge of drawing the human figure.

Entry is free but we appreciate donations, these go towards the models, the organisers, and future sessions. We also ask that participants please order something from the bar out of respect for our kind hosts.
The Session
The model will be in underwear and will pose on the stage. Participants can draw from the seating area. We recommend bringing your own materials, but basic drawing supplies are also available.
We'll start off with short, dynamic 1 min poses, which will increase in length up to a final long pose (15 or 20 mins). There will be a break halfway through the session.
You are free to draw as you like, this is an untutored session, but don't hesitate to ask one of us (Tabi or Sofie) if you want help or feedback!
The Venue
We are hosted by the Frankfurt Art Bar, a friendly live music bar/restaurant. It is a 6 min walk from Frankfurt-Louisa Bahnhof (S3, S4, or Trams 17, 18).
The Organisers
We are two students at the Academy of Fine Art, a small art school in Bad Homburg with a focus on realistic drawing and painting. We both love the practice of life drawing, we found it fun to do with friends and incredibly helpful as a way to improve as an artist. So now we are trying to bring this to Frankfurt, as a way to bring people together and share the love of figure drawing :)

Welcome to the world of QLoRA, where Quantized models meet Low Rank Adapters (LoRA). LoRA, small yet powerful adapters (fundamentally just small NNs), are integrated into larger neural networks, enabling efficient fine-tuning without modifying the base model.
Drawing from a 2023 academic paper and the personal experience contributing `bitsandbytes` Python library, this talk will try to demystify how QLoRA achieves exceptional performance with limited resources and seek to inspire others to explore use-cases, like exploring characters for creative writing, complying with GDPR or researching AI alignment and gender bias.
The magic of QLoRA lies in its ability to drastically reduce memory requirements—fine-tuning an advanced 65B parameter model, like Llama 2 or Falcon, needs less than 48GB of GPU memory (reducing from >780GB), without compromising performance. This efficiency brings advanced AI applications, comparable to ChatGPT 3.5, within reach of consumer-grade hardware, fostering innovation across diverse fields. Surprisingly, this is often already effective with 10s to 100s of training examples.
